"I think that one of the recent patients that really comes to mind is that we had an 8 year old girl who had a benign brain tumor who had an operation. Although the surgery was successful, it left some geometric scars on the side of her head. She started the second grade and she was ok, but people started to tease her and she started to become self conscious. We were able to do a couple of hair transplants to make this whole bald area go away. And it totally changed her personality, her grades came up. I think also it got rid of her memory of the surgery.
