Dr. Bernstein discusses the surgical hair restoration techniques he employs in his practice (follicular unit transplantation (FUT) via strip harvesting and follicular unit extraction (FUE)), as well as medical hair loss treatments available for patients who are not indicated for a hair transplant.
Here is a more detailed summary of the video:
"Our main focus is follicular unit hair transplantation and that's really an all encompassing procedure. It involves strip harvesting which is the main stay. We do follicular unit extraction (FUE) where we don't use the donor strip, we use in select patients. We do a lot of repair work in our practice. Many of the old procedures such as hair plugs can be improved and we do a lot of the fine aesthetic work and we do eyebrow restoration. So we really offer the whole gamet of things and of course we also, many of our patients are on medical therapy and actually don't need hair transplantation."Video clip provided by Hair Transplant Network Related Posts:
