Dr. Bernstein discusses how he and other leading hair transplant surgeons pioneered follicular unit hair transplant surgery. Below is a transcript of the video interview on hair transplant surgery:
"I received the Platinum Follicle Award for pioneering follicular unit hair transplantation. I wasn't the only person involved in it. Dr. Bobby Limmer was instrumental in developing microscopic dissection which is really the tool that we need for it. But the series of publications I wrote on it in the mid 1990s and early 2000s really define the procedure, how to use the follicular units, how to distribute them, how to use them for the long term planning for the patient, the aesthetics of the procedure, how to use it in different things like repairs. So there was really no body of work that really described this new field. I think that was my main early contribution."Video clip provided by Hair Transplant Network Related Posts:
